With over 30 years of custom home building experience, Bill Dunn, owner of Bill Dunn Construction, Inc., is one of the most sought after builders in the Texas Hill Country. His homes have been featured in Architectural Digest, Fine Homebuilding, Texas Architect, and other publications.

Beginning his career as a framer, Bill learned the business from the ground up. In 1985, after the birth of his first child, he decided to start his own company. Bill moved his family to Wimberley and opened an office there.. In 2007 business brought him down the road to Fredericksburg, Texas, where he then decided to move his operations, closing the Wimberley office after 20+ years.

Working with the best craftsmen in the area, he and his team have built everything from cabins on the river, to large ranch houses, estate homes, family compounds, and everything in between.

Bill has worked with some of the top architects in the country, and has brought their visions to fruition. In addition to custom homes, Bill also does remodels, restorations, and historic renovations and restorations when scheduling allows.

In 2007, Bill built the first state of the art luxury green home. This home earned the first five star award in the history of Austin Energy’s Green Building Program. At the time, this was one of the leading green building programs in the United States.
